After doing a previous design for McMahon Engineering (my dad!) he needed something put together and loaded with job information before important international work started.

Built with a WordPress backend and integrated HTML 5 image sliders for ultimate compatibility the website was put together to showcase his jobs in a simple and obvious way while his new logos are being finalised.

Kate designed her new blog to tie in with the new direction of Magnolia Rouge Magazine. The design really shows off her images and advertisers and the soft colours give the images real prominence to the reader.

The coding integrated wordpress CMS including image sliders, custom scripting and a lot of love and care to get the layouts and fonts working as designed.

The Magnolia Rouge world has several different facets to it. The blog, the magazine, and ruby willow, Kate’s original stationary design company. Kate got in touch with Ben to overhaul the way that her websites were designed, coded and hosted. Doing a full package gives Kate a single login but the ability to check multiple analytics and usage statistics while paying a single person for all of her websites, domain names and hosting.

The magazine was the most important part of this upgrade and has just been completed in time for issue 1!

This New Zealand based stationary designer presented a unique challenge with a website that showcased the stationary of the business and then a blog design that Liora could detail her finds on the web. With two separate designs and layouts it was rewarding to be able to host it within the same site so that updating and changing parts was kept straight forward.

Natasha first approached me back with her company Fusion Therapies. Since then she’s expanded and started her new business from several locations called Viva Well. Specialising in a range of massage therapies including sports massage and Pilates meant that a bright, spacious website was perfect for the depth of information that she had to add.

Once a week my childhood friend (Guy) and myself (Ben) get together to chat about our weeks, have a laugh and do some good natured pranks. It’s a great way to do something a bit different and we hope to grow our listeners and our show as time goes on.

Currently you can tune in to the station’s live stream straight from the site as well as listen to older podcasts and watch any video’s we’ve made. There are many expansion ideas so this is one page that won’t get left alone!

For an upgrade from a simple looking original site Kate got Creative Collective to completely revamp her site and her emails which was done affordably using Viewbook and Google Apps for a professional solution that didn’t cost the earth. Her website is easy to update with a user friendly backend and usable on smartphones and tablets as well as all browsers.

Ring a Ding Ding was an illustration website from Ben Olive and Liam Bing, two up and coming designers in Auckland. Creative Collective was asked to code their sketches in to a quick loading functional website that would showcase their great work.

Walled Garden
